Today Ben and I made the trip out to Giverny to see the home and gardens of Claude Monet. We biked between the small towns of Vernon and Giverny in the French countryside and then explored the gardens where Monet got his inspiration for his famous Water Lilies series. The garden wasn’t as big as we expected but the pond and the flowers were still gorgeous. Ben got too claustrophobic to really enjoy his house as much as I did. But overall it was just so nice to get outside of the city, breathe some fresh air, and not have to listen to motorcycles and ambulances at all hours of the day and night. These pictures might bore some people but I wanted to show a little taste of what we saw today!
